Obituary for M. Grant Henry
M. Grant Henry passed away January 21, 2021. He was born in Vandergrift, PA, in 1935 and lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Missouri, and Michigan during his life.
Grant resided in Battle Creek, MI at the time of his death. He worked as a chemist for U.S. Steel for nearly 20 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Grant was proud to be a Mason and recently received his 50-year award.
Grant was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and he followed Michigan State University teams. He loved to garden and enjoyed mowing as well.
Grant leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Donta (Bronson) Henry, daughter Joyce Henry of Durham, NC, son Alan Henry (Karen) of East Lansing, MI, granddaughters Audrey Henry of Seattle, WA, and Grace Henry of East Lansing, MI; step-daughters Kristine Kirkbride of Battle Creek, MI, and Michele Wilbur (Gary) of Minneapolis, MN, grandchildren Jordan Owens of Henrico, VA, Anthony Laws of Battle Creek, MI, and Zachary (Tabitha) Wilbur of Eaton Rapids, MI; sisters-in-law Dyana Yates and Denise Kimble.
A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2021.
