Mamie "Midge" Eldora Wilcox, 91, of Dowling, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at The Oaks at Northpointe Woods. She was born on May 30, 1928, the daughter of Charles D. Ankney and Letha (Dauber) Ankney.
Midge graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1945.
Midge is survived by her Two Daughters, Donna (Kenneth) Lambeth, Pamela S. Wilcox; Two Grandchildren, Kenneth (Melinda) Lambeth, Jamie (Shad Walling) Baird; Six Great-Grandchildren, Kelsee Younglove, MacKenzie Lambeth, Kenneth Cash Lambeth, Myah Lambeth, Kamden Lambeth, Xander Baird; Great Great-Grandchild, Fj Jamierson. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Howard Lee Wilcox, Brothers, Lloyd "Bud" Ankney, John Ankney and Sister, Ethel "Sue" Carson.
Midge loved to tend to her garden, listen to music and dance, read as many books as she could, play BINGO, and travel. Her main passion in life however was to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, making memories with them throughout the years.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
