Obituary for Marie Annette Angus (Branson)
Marie Annette Angus, 83, of East Leroy, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on April 7, 1937, the daughter of Ward and Dorothy (Culmer) Branson.
Marie graduated from Lakeview High School with the Class of 1955, Marie was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, previously known as Birchwood Methodist Church.
Marie is survived by her Daughter, Donna K. Angus; Son, Steven G. Angus; Six Grandchildren, Mike (Alicia) Angus, Melissa (Adam Gregory) Hess, Sarah (Pete) Otto, Dawn (Eric Thompson) Hess, Heather Linderman, Craig (Shana) Angus; 17 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Wanda (Brian) Hartford; Significant Other, Bill Hall and Two Special Friends, Mitch Hess, Rachel Stetler and JoAnn Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Darwin James Angus and Son, Larry S. Angus.
Marie loved crocheting, working in the yard, gardening, square-dancing, traveling to Florida in the winter time, going to the casino and playing games on her tablet. She especially loved family get-together's, when she could spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and catch up on all their special moments in life.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Saturday February 6, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the funeral service immediately following at Congregational Cemetery in East Leroy, MI, with Pastor Chad Parmalee officiating.
