Marilyn Jane Nixon, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at The Oaks at Northpointe Woods. She was born on October 1, 1943, the daughter of Harry Green and Beatrice (Masters) Green.
Marilyn was employed at Meijer as a cashier for 18 years until retiring.
Marilyn is survived by her Daughter, Belinda Kay (Jeffrey) Hall; Sons, Terry Nixon and James Nixon; Son-in-law, Terry Buck, Brother-in-law, Melvin Cole; Nine Grandchildren, Kristie Hall, Terry Nixon Jr., Tanner Nixon, James Nixon III, Travis Nixon, Ronnie Buck, Angela Buck, Amanda Mays and Emmett Buck; numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Former Husband, James Nixon, Significant Other, Alfred Crawford, Daughter, Loretta Buck, Brother, Kenneth Green and Sisters Donna Hungerford and Linda Cole.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, going out to dinner, taking rides in the car and watching birds..
Private service to be held at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Greenwood Township Cemetery in Manton, MI.
