Marjorie E. Anselmo passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at her home in Battle Creek. Marjorie, the daughter of Milo and Vera (King) Wiley was born April 28, 1927 in Kalamazoo.
She was employed for over 25 years by the James River Paper Co. Prior to living in Battle Creek, she lived in Jamestown, NC; Phoenix, AZ; and Richland, MI. An avid reader, Marge volunteered for the local library. She also enjoyed working jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Marge was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne; a son, Michael; her husband, Tony; and a sister, Joyce Prince. Surviving are daughters Marcia (James) Stech of Augusta, MI; Stephanie (Gregory) Jonas of Shaker Heights, OH; and Lisa (Martin) Dills of Sturgis, MI. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, fond nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, October 14, 2011 after 10 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kalamazoo, MI.
Memorial tributes may be made to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
