Marjorie Doris Wigginton, 83, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1934, the daughter of E. Henry Nystrom and Alvira (Forbes) Nystrom.
Marjorie graduated as Valedictorian from Colon High School in 1952. She married her husband, Thomas Lex Wigginton on September 17, 1954 and they began their family together. She worked for Dr. Pedro Sevidal and retired from D-K Fence. She attended the Olivet Church of Christ.
Marjorie is survived by her Daughters, Diane (Dale) Carr and Cheryl (Arthur) Sutherland; three Brothers, John Nystrom, Paul Nystrom, and Fred Nystrom; Sister, Marian Landrum; three Grandchildren, Derek Carr, Dawn (Matthew) Miller, and David Sutherland; two Great-granddaughters, Leah and Lily Miller and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Brother, Charles Nystrom, and her Husband, Thomas Wigginton.
Marjorie loved to read, and enjoy the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, as well as caring for and feeding the birds and the squirrels in her yard. Her family was her pride and joy but she absolutely adored her Great Grand-Daughters.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Saturday February 10, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm with Minister Steve Doty officiating.
