Obituary for Mark Allen Brawner

Mark Allen Brawner, 53, of Tekonsha, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home . He was born on February 5, 1963, the son of Larry Ned Brawner and Frances Jean (Kay) Robinson.
He was a member of the VFW of Battle Creek and an AFL-CIO Steward.
Mark is survived by his mother Jean and three sisters; Cathy Casterline of Marshall, MI, Sharon (Pete) VanVranken of East Leroy, MI, Stephanie D (Kevin) Wall of Athens, MI; Three Nieces, Lisa (Sean) Casterline of Bangor, ME, Molly VanVranken of East Leroy, MI, Nicole Clinton-Brawner of Athens, MI; Five Nephews, Matt Casterline of Battle Creek, MI, Reese VanVranken of East Leroy, MI, Chris Jones of Battle Creek, MI, Brian Brawner of Athens, MI, Sean (Kelsey) Brawner of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his Father, Larry Ned Brawner.
Mark was extremely generous with his time and talents. He enjoyed building things and fixing most anything including vehicles for friends and assisting with home improvement projects. He was a traditionalist and loved making peanut brittle with his mother that was a second generation tradition. Family gatherings were a favorite past time. Mark really loved learning and researched projects to determined the workings so he could properly repair them. He was an avid reader and spent time researching honeybees and history in great detail. He was part of a small company and was well thought of both at work and in the community
