Mary Ann Westenbroek, 83, of Marshall, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Marshall Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mary Ann was born on August 26, 1933 in Grandville, MI. Mary Ann and Ronald J. (Wes) Westenbroek were united in marriage on April 4, 1952, and they celebrated 54 years of marriage before Wes's death in 2006.

Mary Ann and Wes lived in Grand Rapids (Wyoming) MI. until Wes's job brought them to Battle Creek in 1962. Upon retirement they moved to Crossville, Tennessee enjoying golf, their church family and friends for 12 years. Family health issues brought them back home to Michigan in 2003.

Awaiting Mary Ann at heaven's gates will be her husband, Wes, sons, Ricky Lee and Wayne Alan, her parents George and Nellie Seabert, brothers Anthony (Bud), George Jr., Robert Dale (infant), and sisters, Barbara, Betty and Mildred.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Deb (Ken) Miller of Ceresco, son Steven Westenbroek (Mark Riggert) of Omaha, Nebraska., grandchildren, Tammy (Jerry) Nye of Marshall, Shelly Miller (Holly Nava), Tim Westenbroek (Tonya Scott) all of Battle Creek and great grandson, Austin Nye of Marshall.

A celebration of Mary Ann's Life will be held Sunday, March 26, 3-5 p.m. at Minges Creek Village Apartments Community Room, 151 Minges Creek Place, Battle Creek, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society- Relay for Life/Team Ceresco, P.O. Box 5, Ceresco, MI.
