Obituary for Mary Lou Brunner (Busick)
Mary Lou Busick Brunner, 86, passed away on May, 23, 2019. She was the first child of Carl and Irene Busick. Mary married Wallace Brunner and they were together for 64 years before he passed away in 2014. They had three children; Wallace Lee (Nancy) Brunner, Mark (Donna) Brunner, and Cindy (Ron) Masters. They also leave behind 6 grandchildren, Amy Largent, Brianne Gallogly, Max Masters, Dana Owen, and Jamie Mac Neil, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mary helped support the family, working several places making lifelong friends at each one. Mary loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids; laughing at their stories and antics. Her enjoyment was working in her yard; you could always find her either mowing her 4 acre yard or using her green thumb to grow beautiful flowers in the nice weather. In the winter months, reading and puzzles were her interests.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Jim, Don, and Bob, sister; Dorothy, and the love of her life, Wally. Together they built a house, raised their kids, square danced, and entertained at holidays. Her house was always decorated for every holiday, especially Christmas.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will take place at a later date when Mary is interred with her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
