Obituary for Mary Reba Leffew (Gwillim)
Mary Reba Leffew, 87, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born on October 10, 1934 the daughter of Isaac R. Gwillim and Mary Francis Huddleston.
Reba married Samuel T. Leffew on March 14, 1953, he preceded her in death in January of 1989. She worked in the cafeteria at Kellogg for many years up until her retirement. Reba enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the animals within her yard. She loved her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and she always made sure they were taken care of.
Reba is survived by her daughters, Mary "Wendy" (Rudy) Luna, Helen (Jr.) Mills; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Charles I. Leffew Sr., Hollis Leffew; daughter, Ruby Ogle and all of her brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will take place at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 starting at 1:00 pm.
