Obituary for Morgan McKenzie Smith
Morgan M. Smith, 25, of Battle Creek, MI passed away on July 3, 2019. Morgan was born January 24, 1994, the daughter of Braden Smith and Tamra Yeric.
Morgan is survived by her parents, Braden (Sarah) Smith and Tamra (David) Yeric; son, Easton Wayne Fuller; 2 sisters, Brianna M. Brown and Bailey Scott; 5 brothers, Steven Brown, Cody Steele, Chandler Scott, Cody Gilbert and Jake Gilbert; grandparents, Guy (Sue) Bess, David (Linda) Yeric, Pat Reeves, and Julie Smith; many aunts uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Levi Smith, and a grandparent, Riley Smith.
Morgan lived life to the fullest. She was a free spirit with a beautiful soul and a laugh that was contagious. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Easton, and her family. Her friends were also very important to her. Morgan loved being outdoors as she an accomplished gymnast, water-skier, volleyball player, and snowboarder. She loved to be on the lake, because she said ‘It was very soothing and calming to her.’ Morgan had the personality that attracted other people towards her, with a big smile, a laugh you could never forget, and she had a gentleness and kindness towards others.
She will be missed more than words can express and she will always have that special place in our hearts. The special memory of her and the joy that she brought to each of us will be with us always. We love you Morgan, you will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Friend’s Church, 1305 Olive St., on Monday July 8, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held at the Church, on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Morgan’s name may be made to the family.
