Obituary for Nancy Joy Martin (Cryderman)
Nancy "Nan" Joy Martin, 72, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Laurels of Bedford. She was born on August 8, 1947, the daughter of Theodore William and Phyllis Joy (Workinger) Cryderman.
Nancy graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. For the majority of her life, Nancy was a homemaker and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her Daughter, Tina Martin; Son, Bruce Martin, II; Two Granddaughters, Mercedes Martin and Mariah Martin and; Grandson, Dequan Martin; Two Brothers, Ted Cryderman, Gary Cryderman; Three Great-Grandchildren, Sky'Vier Sango, Miah Johnson and Jayceon Cook. She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Nancy enjoyed caring for her cats. Any stray cat around her home, she'd take in or find a home for it. Nancy enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, and loved buying new shoes. Growing up, she was the biggest Elvis fan. She also loved plants and gardening. Nancy was stubborn and if she didn't want to do something, she wouldn't. Nancy was so loving and cared for every person close to her. Her smile lit up the room. She was a great mother, grandma, and great grandma. She was loved and will forever be missed.
Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
