Noella Ruth Allman, 82, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1931, the daughter of Louis "Skip" Noel and Ruth Mae (Goodman) Noel.
Noella was a 1949 graduate of Lakeview High School and then graduated from KCC and Argubright Business College. She and her husband were founders and owners of R.G. Allman Inc. in Battle Creek for over 50 years.
Noella is survived by her Son: Richard "Rick" (Debi) Allman Jr. of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter: Rebecca "Beckie" Allman Schoenfeld of Ann Arbor, MI; Grandchildren: Dr. Andrea (Jeri) Allman, Richard "Trae" (Jodi) Allman III, Danielle (Scott) Allman, Eric (Patricia) Allman and Elizabeth Schoenfeld; Great Grandchildren: Gabrielle, Delanie, Alivia, Henrick and a new great granddaughter to be born in February 2015; Numerous nieces and nephews; Special Friend: Corky Popenhagen. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband: Richard George Allman Sr. (died Sep. 9, 1992) and Brother: Leon Noel.
Noella and her husband owned race horses. She enjoyed music, line dancing, playing the piano and she loved spending time with her family and many friends. .
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday September 10, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2 PM with Pastor Steven A. Shafe of Caring Community Church, Albion MI.
Entombment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
