Obituary for Pamela Ann Andrews (Akers)
Pamela Ann Andrews, 62, of Dowling, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 1, 1958, the daughter of Milton L. Akers and Sandra L. (Ivins) (Akers) Adams.
Pam graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1976. She previously worked at Red Lobster, Kellogg Federal Credit Union, Palmer Envelope and Prairie Farms. Pam married Gary Andrews on November 21, 1975 in Battle Creek, MI.
Pam is survived by her Husband of 45 Years, Gary Andrews; Sons, Ryan (Audrey) Andrews and Jayme (Kymberley) Andrews; Grandchildren, Madison, Rylee, Taylor, Colton, Justin and Gunner; Great Granddaughter, Charlotte; Mother, Sandra Adams; Sisters, Debra (Skip) Magee, Lisa (Thomas) Payne, Brenda (Donald) Handlovits; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Milton Akers; Maternal and Paternal Grandparents and Beloved Nieces, Kelli Lynn Wood and Jordan Anne Wilt.
Pam loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She enjoyed camping, her favorite being hot summer days, boating on Hardy Dam and cool nights around a campfire with family and friends. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, her dogs and farm animals. She had an eye for detail and enjoyed decorating.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Pam and Gary's home. Anyone wishing to attend, please contact the family for details.
