Obituary for Pamela Sue Bailey (Newburn)

Pamela S. (Newburn) Bailey, age 60, went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 9, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born January 9, 1953 to Paul M. Newburn and Jacqueline J. (Spalsbury) Newburn in Battle Creek, MI. Pam was a collector of dolls, enjoyed knitting, loved shopping, and was an Elvis Presley fan. She knew her way around a kitchen and was known for her famous baked beans. She was dedicated to everything she did; she liked helping people and teaching children, particularly the AWANA program and Sunday school. Her favorite dog was Jasper. Most of all Pam adored her family, especially her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles LeRoy Bailey, of 28 years; sons, Robert Ermel, Benjamin (Angela) Ermel; grandchildren, Ashley, Alexandria, Colten, Johnathan, Katlyn, Amanda, Sara; brothers, Terrence (Stephanie) Newburn, Scott (Debra) Newburn; sisters, Paula (Randy) McCrimmon, Traci (Thomas) Salas and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband Robert Ermel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held at North Avenue Church of God Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00AM with Pastor Dennis Siddall and Pastor James Sirks officiating. Interment will follow at Reese Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the North Avenue Church of God or the Humane Society.
