Obituary for Pamela Joyce James (Austin)


Pamela Joyce (Austin) James, 60, of Battle Creek, MI, died, Sunday, February 5, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born July 17, 1951 the daughter of Theron James Austin and Veretta Fern (Riley) Hollister.
Pamela was employed at the Shari Rarick School of Dance for several years and was a child care provider for many children in Battle Creek.
Pamela is survived by Daughters: Gayla (Dewey) Caswell, Dawn (Max) Blood, Bridget Collie and Jamie (Dave) Goins all of Battle Creek, MI, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Sister: Debra Jaskie, Brothers: Robert McQueen and Randy Campbell. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband: Ewell James.
Pamela was a member of the Overflow Church. She enjoyed crafts, dancing and was a tap dancer. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was very social and enjoyed talking on the phone.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 5 PM to 8 PM and Thursday, February 9, 2012, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeffery Davis of Overflow Church officiating.
Interment will be at Bedford Cemetery.
