Obituary for Patricia Ann Benwire
Patricia Ann Benwire (Stringer), 87, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Brenda Moore Home Care. She was born January 4, 1934 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of William and Frances (MacKinder) Stringer. Pat was a secretary for the Battle Creek School District. She also worked at the Federal Center and Kingman Museum.
She is survived by her Children, Janice Hicks, Mike (Meleah) VanDenberg, Vicki (Stacey) Jones; 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way; 3 Nieces and 3 Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Brothers, William Stringer Jr. and Jim Stringer.
Pat never missed an opportunity to watch her children or grandchildren's sporting events, accomplishments or achievements. She loved being with family more than anything and taking trips with her sister-in-law, Joan. Pat enjoyed reading, camping, sewing and watching the Tigers and Colts play.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
