Paula M. Smith, 66, passed away Friday April 20, 2012. She was born March 28, 1946 in Battle Creek. Paula was the daughter of Dean L. and Gwendolyn L. (Mongerson) Rall. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1964. She was employed with the Heart Center for Excellence in Kalamazoo for over 20 years. She was married to Richard Smith on June 14, 1997.

Paula is survived by her husband, Richard of 15 years; daughter, Jody (Bryan) Davis of Battle Creek; son, Randy (Dawn) Card of Battle Creek; father, Dean Rall of Ceresco; sister, Deenna (Steve) Hamilton of Ceresco; 4 grand children; 2 great-granddaughters; stepson, Chris (Amy) Smith and 4 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Mother Gwen Rall.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 5-8PM at the Baxter Funeral Service. A graveside service will take place at Newton Township Cemetery on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 11AM with Pastor James Codde officiating.
