Peggy J. Beard, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was born on August 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Jennings E. Manies and Hazel Louise (Brady) Klammer. Peggy worked at Post and retired after 25 years of service. She loved to do crafts, crocheting and bowling. Peggy enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Peggy was passionate about going camping and that was when she seemed her happiest. She also had a great time going on road trips with her mom and aunt.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Patricia M. Beard and Kelly Wickens; son, Charlie (Jeanne`) Wickens; five grandchildren, Shanan, Jami, Albert, Carly and Ashten and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Albert Klammer; daughter, Pamela Smith and brothers, Walter Manes and Herschel Manies.

In accordance with Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will take place at a later date.
