Phillip Henry Russell, 84, of Augusta, MI, Died, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 6235 W. Sherman Lake Road in Augusta Michigan. He was born January 11, 1927 the son of James Edward Russell and Grace Edna (Maydwell) Russell. He retired from New York Air Brake in Galesburg after 35 years of service.

Phil loved hunting and fishing when he was young and was active in the United Machinist Union. He enjoyed bowling and bowled on several area leagues and spending time with his family.

Phillip is survived by Sister: Francis Prichard, Mary (Howard) Mack and Betty (Glenn) West; Brothers: Robert (Wilma) Russell, Ralph Russell, James (Carolyn) Russell, Fred (Sharon) Russell and John (Theresa) Russell. He is preceded in death by Sister: Genevieve Sousley and Special Friend: Jean Franks. Surviving family of special friend Jean: Bill (Maria) Little, Gary (Kathy) Little, Lynette (Rob) Hoskins, Doug Little and Kelly Little, Harley (Grace) Franks and 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at the Day Cemetery, North 45th and East C Ave,
