Richard Lee Cotton, 49, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was born on July 13, 1973, the son of Charles Lee Cotton and Karen Ann (Kidney) Cotton.
Rich was a man of strong faith. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a stay at home dad that took pride in his children and home schooling them until he was physically unable to do so. He was an avid antique collector that specialized in Battle Creek memoribelia. Rich had a passion for writing and had dreamed of writing a book surrounding the history of Battle Creek.
Richard is survived by his children, Gavin, Paighton and Allison Cotton; mother of his children; Jessica, Cotton; mother, Karen Cotton; sister, Kimberly Cotton; half-sister, Jamie Rupe and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee Cotton and son, Wesley Lee Cotton.
