Obituary for Ricky Louis Robinson

Ricky Louis Robinson, 72, of Climax, Michigan, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at home. He was born on May 28, 1948, the son of Louis Walter and Reva Jean (Johnson) Robinson.
Ricky honorably and proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked for 25 years at Checker Motors before his retirement.
Ricky is survived by his Two Sons, Stewart Eugene Robinson, Loren Dean (Dorothy) Robinson; Siblings, Rosemary (Rick) Sorrentino, Randy (Diane) Robinson, Rodney (Jeannie) Robinson, several nieces and nephews; Companion of 22 Years, Cindy Dorbin and His Beloved Dog, Fannie Mae. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Ricky was an avid hunter and fisherman, catching and releasing Blue Gills into his pond. He always enjoyed seeing his name and the names of his brothers at the top of the list in Kalamazoo Gazette Fishing Contest. He was a devoted family man and every weekend you could find him fishing with his Parents and Brothers and Sister. He enjoyed being in nature camping, mushroom hunting, watching drag races and feeding the raccoons. Ricky will be remembered as a great story teller, always up for a good laugh and always driving a Chevy truck. He truly will be missed by his family and all those that knew and loved him.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may pay their respects at Rodney Robinson's home, 5401 East CD Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49004 date to be determined.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
