Obituary for Robert Aung Aung

Robert Aung 51, of Battle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born on March 15, 1971 in Falam, Chin State, Burma. He was the son of Joseph Tail Luai and Mary Lian Cuai.
He was blessed with two daughters, Julian Aung and Rosaline Aung. On July 12, 2014, Robert blessedly, met and married, Genevieve Hlawn Mawi.
Robert had worked at DENSO Manufacturing Michigan (DMM) since 2001 and continued to work there until July of 2022. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years. He was a compassionate person. He loved gardening, fixing things around the house, and was a hardworking handyman who could fix and repair almost everything. He was always ready to help his community without expecting anything in return, and most of all, he loved being a family man.
Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Julian Aung. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Hlawn Mawi; daughter, Rosaline Aung; his
eight siblings across the United States and across the Nations, and his parents, Joseph Tail Luai and Mary Lian Cuai.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Robert was held on July 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Battle Creek, Michigan with Father Pius Cung and Father Christopher Ankley officiating the funeral mass.
Robert was laid to rest at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
