Obituary for Robert Baber Sr.
Robert C. Baber Sr, 61, of Pennfield, entered into his Lord and Savior’s arms on Nov. 21, 2021. He passed from complications of Covid-19 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI.
Robert was born Oct. 8th 1960, in Ashtabula, Ohio to Fred F. Baber and Edna J. (Marshall) Baber. He was a long time employee of Adient (Johnson Controls) for 10.5 yrs.
On May 17th 1986 he married his wife Penny and loved being a Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He enjoyed camping, working in his yard, being mechanical, taking rides on his Harley and developing relationships with “adopted” sons and daughters.
He is being remembered by 5 brothers, Andrew (Barbara), Ted (Rachelle), Bruce (Rhonda), Edward, Fredd (Janice) and 2 sisters Elisabeth (Tom) and Laurene (Tony) along with numerous nieces and nephews and 3 children Christina Marie Baber of Delton, MI. Pamela Denise Baber, of Battle Creek, MI and Robert Christopher Baber Jr., of McMinnville, TN; along with his ten grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Fred F. Baber; his Mother Edna J. (Marshall) Baber; his Wife Penny K. Baber, Mother-in-Law Joan M. (Haner) Mintern and his Sister-in-law Susan M. Chantrenne.
In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Calvary Apostolic Church, 511 E. Morgan Rd on Saturday, Dec 4th 2021 from 2-6pm. We welcome you to come join his family, extended family and friends in this joyful remembrance of him.
