Obituary for Robert George Brininstool
Robert George Brininstool, 80, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center. He was born on January 27, 1939, the son of George I. Brininstool and Margaret Ruby (Stanton) Brininstool.
Bob was previously employed by Oliver's Farm Equipment, Clark Equipment and retired from Steel and Wire, all located in Battle Creek. Bob was an avid member of the Eagles in Battle Creek.
Bob is survived by his Significant Other, Yvonne Marie Simmons; Two Sons, Steven (Beth) Brininstool, Ronald (Deb) Simmons; Daughter, Dawn Simmons; Four Siblings, Richard (Ortha) Brininstool, Ron (Linda) Brininstool, Janet Ronning, Gary (Cyndie) Brininstool; 5 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Ruth Ann Berkimer.
Bob enjoyed spending time fishing, traveling up North to hunt, golfing and bowling on his league for many years. He loved doing cement work and selling his goods at Cornwell's flea-markets and all other local markets. He enjoyed spending time with Yvonne, they loved cooking together and traveling to Thornapple Lake. He will truly be missed by his friends, family and all others that knew him.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, and Tuesday, June 18, 11:00 am -12:00 pm.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Bob will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on June 18, 2019, starting at 12:00, noon with Pastor Don Francis officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 19757 Capital Avenue NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017.
