Obituary for Robert G. Greene

Robert G. Greene, 86, of Fulton, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on October 24, 1934, the son of Charles Joe and Lavora (Curless) Greene.
He met his wife, Nola, of 63 years while working at Delco Remy in Anderson, IN. They were married on August 29, 1953 in Chesterfield, IN. Bob adored her and loved her so.
Bob retired from the Battle Creek Gas Co. in 1989, and continued to work his farm in Fulton, MI. He was a member of the Lord's Church and worshiped at the 20th Street Church of Christ. Bob and Nola loved their family and centered everything on them. They loved the holidays and anytime everyone could get together as a family. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bob and Nola retreated to their houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake to enjoy God's creation and fishing.
Bob is survived by his Daughter, Sherrey (Jarold) Goodrich of Marshall, MI; Sons, Tony (Theresa) Greene of Battle Creek, MI, Joe (Cathie) Greene of Goodrich, MI; Sisters, Susie (Don) Garrison of Elwood, IN, Betty Jo Barmes of Virginia Beach, VA, Loretta Richardson of Frankton, and Carol Sue Mcklin of Decatur, IN; Sisters-In-Law, Sue Denning of Franklin, KY, Theresa Huff; Brother-In-Law, Richard Taylor; Grandchildren, Amiee Downey, Justin Greene, Jess Polnasek, Jarrod Goodrich, Jayna Houseman, Jordann Cossey, Allison Pilarski, Daniel Greene; 12 Great-Grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and very close friends.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Nola; Parents, Charles J. Greene and Lavora Long; and Sister, Barbara Courtney.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
