Bob Howell Minier, 62 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away from a 17 month battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma) on March 27, 2020.
He was born on September 11, 1957 to James Minier and Joyce (Smith) Royce in Reed City, Michigan. Hardworking and loyal, Bob was employed by Denso Manufacturing as a supervisor for 22 years. He retired after supervising at Post cereals for 5 years in 2016.
Bob married his wife, Starr Minier, in Hawaii, on March 21, 2002. They shared a devoted and loving relationship for 18 years. Bob loved to travel the world with his wife and spend time with family and friends. In particular, Bob, enjoyed camping with his family, golfing, and always looked forward to an annual canoe trip with friends.
Bob was a ray of sunshine and the life of the party. His sense of humor and infectious laugh kept people around him laughing and smiling. He will be very much missed by all.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, James Minier and his stepfather, Tom Royce. Surviving are his wife, Starr Minier; daughter, Rachel Minier; sons, Ryan (Ellie) Minier, and Daniel (Sara) Minier; grandchildren, Joshua Minier, Darius and Zane Udwadia; mother, Joyce Royce; sisters, Deb (Jeff) Gezon, Toni (John) Thees, Laurie (Phil) Martz; brother, Todd Royce, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob’s Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2020 at Robin’s Nest Banquet Facilities, 16181 Ten Mile Road in Battle Creek, Michigan.
