Rodney A. Brownell, 57, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born on January 20, 1963, the son of Darrell Richard Brownell and Marlene Rae (Griggs) Brownell. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his friends, was an avid bowler and was an all-star baseball player at Lakeview High School, and was on several Stan Musial Championship Teams. Rodney loved to root on the Michigan State Spartans "Go Green!". He would consider his greatest achievement in his life to be his daughter, Rebecca.

Rodney is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Brownell; brother, Ricke (Shelly) Brownell and sister, Tanya (Brownell) Willavize. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Ryan Rose and niece, Carrie Lynne Rose.

In accordance with Rodney's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
