Rodney Dylan Singleton, 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1960, the son of Alvin Joel Singleton and Mary Elvira (Williams) Singleton.

Rodney honorably served many years in the United States Marine Corps, traveling to several different places, his favorite being Japan.

Rodney is survived by his sisters, Alvanita Singleton, Angela Gant; brothers, J Marlon Singleton, Ron (Beth) Pierson; nephew whom he considered his son, Joshua Singleton; nephew and niece, Robert (Nicole) Gant, Shuntel (Michael) Talton; great niece, Giavanna Gant; uncle, Julius Singleton; sister cousins, Brenda Fleming, Essie (Lee) Tatum, and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin J. Singleton; mother, Mary E. Singleton and aunt and uncle, Julia and Johnnie Fleming.

At this time cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Columbus, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation in honor of Rodney.
