Ronald Wayne Asher, 68, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1953, the son of Ardill and Gladys (Howard) Asher.
Ron proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He served two tours in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He married Paula Wilcox on August 18, 1985 and the two spent 37 wonderful years together.
Ron is survived by his wife, Paula Sue Wilcox-Asher; children, Caleb Asher, Joshua (Barb) Asher, Nathan (Jenn) Asher, Ronald (BJ) Asher Jr., Billy (Mona) Asher, Luke Gore-Asher, Tonya Asher, Angela (Steven) Asher; 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Jewel Richardson, Linda (Steve) Johnson; brother, Michael Asher; uncle, Eddy Asher and many many adopted children, cousins and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Willy Asher, grandsons, Ronald Wayne Asher III, Mikey Mikolajcyk; brother, Dellice Asher, sisters, Ernestine Asher-Davis and Phyllis Asher-Eberhard.
Ron was a prankster, he always had a joke to tell, or a trick to play. He enjoyed fishing, and being a man of faith. Ron was a stubborn man, and could bargain with anyone. His family was his passion and he loved them with everything he had. He would do anything he needed to in order to keep them safe and happy. Ron was well loved and respected by many, and will be missed by all.
