Ronald “Ronnie” “Hippie” Robert Jordan, 59, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Battle Creek VA Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1953 the son of Robert Lamar and Bonnie Jean (Brown) Jordan.
Ronald served in the US Airforce during Vietnam. He was painter for many years in the Battle Creek area. “Hippie” was well known, loved and will be greatly missed in the Level Park community.
Ronald is survived by his Mother: Bonnie Jordan; Sister: Teresa Jordan; Brother: John M. Jordan; Nephews: Ryan (Amanda) Jordan and Jesse Augustine; Cousin: James Jordan; 1 Great Niece and 1 Great Nephew, many good friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his Father.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Olmstead of the Pleasantview Family Church officiating.
Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
