Rubbie C. Weaver, 77, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Oaklawn Hospital. She was born on November 27, 1944, the daughter of Abraham and Odessa Baldwin.

Rubbie was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Battle Creek, MI and an Eastern Star for the Masonic Lodge. She liked to get lost in a good book and bake pies for her family and friends.

Rubbie is survived by her son, Dereck Burns Weaver; grandchildren, Raeha, Dereck II, Tyler, Kelicia, Sabrina, Korean, Jorelle, Jovon and Josiah; great grandchildren, Kamden and Kha'Lel; sister, Dempsey, and her extended brothers and sisters through the Kingdom Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricardo Von Weaver, sisters, Minnie and Willa and brothers, Calvin, Nate, Ernest, Willie, Melvin and Gordon.

Family Hour will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with the memorial funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm.
