Russell Dean Cole Sr., 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on April 10, 1940, the son of Dayton and Lucy Cole.
Russell is survived by his Wife of 58 years - Joan Marie (Wolverton) Cole; Four Children, Russell Dean Cole Jr., Rodney Duane Cole, Renee Denise Vaccaro, Robin Dee (Steve) Peine; Five Grandchildren, Amanda Renee Richey, Lauren Marie Asher, Adam Russell Richey, Trent Raymond Cole, Ryan Dayton Peine; Two Great-Grandchildren, DeAngelo Leon Richey, Amari Lee Karrens; Sister, Sharon Adams, Lifelong Friend, Jim Brangwyn. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Russell enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping with his family, golfing, being in the garage and bowling. He also loved to do jig-saw puzzles with his wife, Joan. His main passion in life however was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to teach them things that no one else thought to. He will truly be missed by his family members and friends.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Russell will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Monday, July 1, 2019, starting at 1:00 pm.
