Obituary for Sally Elizabeth Osborn (Clark)

Sally E. Osborn, 88 of Battle Creek, died November 17, 2021 while in hospice care at The Oaks nursing home, after a several month illness.

She was born November 19, 1932 in Tekonsha, Michigan to Lester and Beatrice (Harlow) Clark.

She graduated from Battle Creek Central HS in June, 1951, and married her sweetheart, Richard E. Osborn within the following month. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Sally enjoyed her work at Godie’s Bakery, as well as her time spent volunteering at Mercy Pavilion. Family, however, was always her first priority. In the summer months, she enjoyed time with them at the cottage on Long Lake, in Cloverdale, and in later years, at Indian River, MI.

Sally also spent countless hours playing card games and Yahtzee with her many friends and companions. She also enjoyed completing cross-stitch projects, cooking and baking, and solving word puzzles and watching game shows in the company of her two kitties, Bieber and Sweetie.

Sally is survived by a daughter, Pam Thompson (Ray, deceased), and a son, Clark Osborn (Jennifer). Also surviving are granddaughters Heather and Jenny, and grandsons Eric, Ryan (Erika) Randall (Leighia), Benjamin, and Lucas, as well as several great-grandchildren: Ricki, Aliese, Laila, Alan, Lexi, Owen, André, Kobe, Carmen and Phil.
