Obituary for Scot A. Grant

Scot Arthur Grant, 48, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Glen Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on August 13, 1972, the son of Clifford R.L. and Marietta L. (Grant) Atkinson.
Scot graduated from Munich American High School, in Munich, Germany. He was a member of the B.C.U.S.B.C.B.A board for the past 5 years. He was the Branch Manager at Edwards Industrial. Scot married his best friend, Carla, on May 12, 2001 in Battle Creek.
Scot is survived by his Wife, Carla A. (Crofoot) Grant; Son, Evan Grant; Mother, Marietta Atkinson and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Clifford R.L. Atkinson and Grandparents, Arthur A and Eva E. Grant.
Scot was an avid bowler and golfer for several years within the community of Battle Creek. His main passion in life however was spending time with his son, they were inseparable. Wherever you saw one of them, you saw both. He loved his family with his entire heart and made sure they were always taken care of. He will truly be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Celebration of life services are limited to family invitation only. All others may view the service via live stream through the Baxter website.
Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
