Obituary for Shirley Ann Heath
Shirley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 20th, 2021 at Bronson Methodist hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This world was blessed with her presence on April 4th, 1957. She was born in Earle, Arkansas. She later moved to Battle Creek, Mi with her children and many of her siblings.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was known for her expensive taste in home decor and cooking skills. She was very dependable and gave life lessons to anyone who has ever crossed paths with her. She was fun spirited and had a great sense of humor. She was quick on her feet when it came to the jokes. She was a loving and stern mother and grandmother, who made sure to always give us lessons on being responsible and independent. She had a personality that would make anyone laugh no matter the situation, she knew how to bring light to the room. She made a great impact on this family. We are more than grateful to have known such a loving spirit and we will always remember her.
Shirley was predeceased by her mother Willie Mae Heath, Father Robert Lee Heath, siblings Florine, Linda, Jane, Sarah, Tilice, Ruth and William, along with her daughter Lawanda Renee Heath and granddaughter Joshayla Renee Gibson.
She is survived by her children Maurice, Morris, Karcey, Tara, Albert, Trina, and Liltania. Her siblings Rosie, Dennis and Percy, along with 31 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved sister Ruth Bliss at Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek, Mi.
