Shirley Ann Smith, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was born on October 23, 1946, the daughter of Kenneth Long and Ramona Hughes.
Shirley is survived by her Husband of 30 years - Eddie Alex Smith; five Daughters, Mona (Lamar) Shuford, Mary Watson, Ed'Dena Joplin, Andrea (Darryl) Ray Sr., and Sabrina Watson; 13 Grandchildren; a host of Great-Grandchildren; step-children, Eddie Jr., Nikki, Quan, Jonathon, Carla; Aunt Frances Martin; special friend, Beverly Olds and a host of friends and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents and Son-in-law, Jerry Joplin.
Shirley loved watching and reading westerns. She enjoyed going outdoors to fish when she was able. Shirley enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her family was her world, and she loved to cook for them during the holidays.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
