Stella (Arredondo) Gonzalez, 72 passed away at home on November 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 21, 1948 to Guadalupe and Lilly (Aranda) Arredondo, she would spend most of her life in the Battle Creek area. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1968. She retired from Post Cereals in 1993 after 20 years of service. She was united in marriage to Oscar Gonzalez in May 1975, although divorced, they maintained a lifelong relationship.

She is survived by her children, Tina Christine Arredondo, Stacy Michelle McLiechey, and Felicitas Cristel Gonzalez; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; siblings, Minnie Moon, Lidia Akers, Earnest (Sheri) Arredondo and Kathy Arredondo and a multitude of special nieces and nephews especially Jaylyn, who she affectionately called her Lo-Lo. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Arredondo and sisters, Diane Heinrich, Cindy Eguia and Mary Geeting.

Stella was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

In accordance with Stella’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Andrus Street Church of God, 765 Andrus Street, Battle Creek, Michigan on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 3:00 pm, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
