Obituary for Sue Ellen Couch (Neil)
Sue E. Couch, 66, of Battle Creek passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Sue was born January 31, 1955, the daughter of Nancy Babcock and Robert Neil. Sue worked at Gallagher’s Laundry, then retired in 2020. She enjoyed puzzles, bonfires, music, dancing, slot games, spending time with family and coworkers, and most of all, spending time with her son, Donnie and stepsister, Debbie.
She is survived by Sam (Tammy) Couch; Donnie Couch; Christina Lewis; grandchildren, Kristina Hunter, Christina and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Amari and Ivy; sisters, Denise Pelfrey of Tennessee; best friend and sister, Debbie (Scott) Newburn and several nieces and nephew, Nancy Dorothy Randy Richard (Michelle) Scotty (Sondra) Crystal.
In accordance with Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Baxter Funeral & Cremation, 375 W. Dickman Rd., Battle Creek at 2:00 pm, April 29, 2021 with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service.
