Susan Kay Lehman, 57, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on October 10, 1960, the daughter of Kenneth H. Pierce and Juanita (Burt) Pierce.
Sue graduated from Athens High School in 1978. She married the love of her life, Michael, on November 10, 1978. She worked at First of America Bank for many years. Her and her husband were faithful members of Victory Life Church of God in Battle Creek.
Susie is survived by her Husband of 40 years - Michael Lehman; Mother, Jaunita Pierce; two Sons, Austin (Meagan) Lehman, and Dan (Rebekah) Lehman; three Grandchildren, Hannan, Copelynn, and Sawyer; Sister, Anita (Brad) Howlington; Brother, Tom Pierce; Mother-in-law, Cathorine Lehman; Sister-in-law, Pam Lehman, and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Kenneth H. Pierce.
Susie enjoyed watching sports; baseball, college basketball, NFL, and golf were some of her favorites. In her younger years she coached Volleyball, she also enjoyed road trips to South Haven, watching stupid funny movies, and running golf leagues with her husband at Cedar Creek Golf Club for many years. Susie adored her family and spending time with them, especially her grandkids. She was such a loving person and was always doing things for other people. She was a humble woman, never upset about her situations that would have had many folks down. If she could have eaten again, it would have been Taco Bell, it was her absolute favorite. Sue grew up on a dairy farm, she enjoyed collecting holstein cow memorabilia and eventually became a snowman aficionado. Her generous heart and warm spirit will be missed by all those she leaves behind.
