Obituary for Tara A. Vaughn
Tara Vaughn, 43, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away June 30, 2020. She was born, November 26, 1976 to Phyllene Allison and Thomas Vaughn. Tara worked as a waitress, which was a career she enjoyed and thrived in as she was very social and loved talking with others and meeting new people.
Tara was a wonderful and loving mother, her daughter Chloe was the light of her life and best friend, she also loved spending time with her family, spending time in nature, spontaneous road trips, theatre, music- especially her favorite band- the Red Hot Chili Peppers, swimming, dancing, singing, laughing and making others laugh- even if it was at her expense. She will be remembered by her deep kindness, wild and free spirit, loving heart and ability to make everyone laugh and feel loved.
She is survived by daughter, Chloe Vaughn; father, Thomas Vaughn; mother Phyllene (Jim) Allison; grandparents, Ginny and Jack Dean; three brothers, Tommy (Carrie) Vaughn II, Kenneth (Rachel) Allison and Tyler Vaughn; Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Laurene Vaughn and niece.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at Baxter Funeral & Cremation.375 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037 from 6:00-8:00 pm for friends and family. The memorial to celebrate Tara’s life will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Victory life Church, 6892 D Drive North, Battle Creek, MI 49014, at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Tara’s memory to Victory Life Church in Battle Creek, Michigan.
