Obituary for Teresa Psiharis-Rankin
Teresa Tula Psiharis-Rankin, 46, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on December 2, 1971, the daughter of Nicholas Psiharis and Kostandina (Leventis) Psiharis.
Teresa graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and Western Michigan University with her bachelors degree in social work. She was a social worker at the department of human services. She was a long time prayer leader of Operation Christmas Child.
Teresa is survived by her Husband of 18 years - Michael Rankin; Daughter, Faith Rankin; Parents, Nicholas and Kostandina Psiharis; special friend, Mary Platsis; sister-in-law, Annette (Jeffrey) Spindler; niece and nephew, Justin and Hannah Spindler; parents-in-law, Dennis and Betty Rankin; and a host of friends and other loving family.
Teresa was so proud of her family. She adored caring for her husband and daughter and was a very proud volleyball mom. She never missed an opportunity to cheer her daughter on at Lakeveiw Middle School. Teresa was involved in the Minges School and enjoyed helping children. She had a heart of gold and she was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her warmth and generous smile will be dearly missed by all those she leaves to cherish her memories.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Wednesday July 25, 2018, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed immediately by a funeral service starting at 12:00 noon.
Interment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a college fund for Faith; C/O Michael.
