Obituary for Thomas Robert Bliler

Thomas Robert Bliler, 74, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Evergreen Senior Care & Rehab Center. He was born on September 30, 1942, the son of George Robert Bliler and Esther Elsie (Kuespert) Bliler.
Tom came to Battle Creek in 1964 from South Bend with his wife to work at Wagner Beverage for his father in law. He went on to work for the Beer Company of Battle Creek before eventually buying Barneys Bar in Bedford in 1985.
Tom is survived by his Wife of 54 years - Judith (Kuntz) Bliler; Daughter, Deborah (Dan) Hanson; two Sons, George (Linda) Bliler, John (Candy) Bliler; six Grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Ellah, Garrison, Tanna, and Lexi; two Nephews, Jeff and Ed Bliler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his Brother, James Bliler.
Tom lived life to the fullest and loved to play games and cards with his friends, family, and Barney's customers. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite sport was football; He was an avid Notre Dame fan. Tom adored his family but his grandkids were his world. He will be greatly missed at Barney BS Corner and by all the lives he touched in his years.
