Obituary for Thomas Vernon Briggs
Thomas Vernon Briggs, 74, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1947, the son of Vernon Briggs and Dorothy (Christiansen) Allen.
Tom is survived by his wife, Linda Briggs; son, Thomas Briggs Jr.; daughter, Sherry (Rauil Sr.) Cruz; grandchildren, Rauil Cruz Jr., Marcus Cruz, Ricardo Cruz; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Douglas) Bishop and Patricia Willerick. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Larry Briggs.
Tom enjoyed giving to The 700 Club. Tom was an outdoorsman, he could be found hunting, fishing or camping and if you couldn't find him there you could always find him and Linda at the casino. He was a quiet man that loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed the moments that he had with him. He was the rock of the family and will forever be missed.
At this time, cremation has taken place and no services are being held.
