Obituary for Thomas Alan "Sobie" Sobieranski
Thomas Alan “Sobie” Sobieranski, age 73, of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on Friday May 8, 2020 with his family at his side.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Edward & Mary Sobieranski, His brother Edward Sobieranski II ( Sonny ). He survived by his loving Wife of 52 years Carol Sobieranski (Rzemek). His children Carrie ( Tony ) Cook, Tom Jr ( Marsha ) Sobieranski. Grandchildren- Taylor, Megan, Maddie Cook, Cameron, Karleigh, Justin, Chris Sobieranski. Sister Dorothy Mae ( Jack ) Criske and his Sister-in-law Ruth Sobieranski along with many Nieces and Nephews.
Thomas served in the United States Marines in Vietnam where he earned a Purple Heart. Tom retired from the United States Postal Service.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
