Obituary for Thomas Lee Wright
Thomas Lee Wright, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the University of Michigan Health Systems. He was born on September 10, 1953, the son of Joseph E. and Florence (Kornoelje) Wright.
He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1971. He worked 36 years at the Kellogg's factory, was a member of the 25 Year Club and BTCGM Local 3G.
TL is survived by his Loving Wife, Kim S. (Katz) Wright; Step-Son, Damon Case; Granddaughter, Haidyn Case; Mother, Florence Wright; Brother, Larry (Vickie) Wright; Nieces and Nephews, Stacie, Lisa, Brian, Craig and Extraordinary Friends, Jeff, Mark, Murray, Phil, Duane and Ken. He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph E. Wright and Brother, Douglas Wright.
TL enjoyed going to car auctions, riding his motorcycle across the United States, he loved being on the open road. He was a golf enthusiast, one of the original Rhino Rangers and Waldo/Frisky Openers. He enjoyed going on bus trips to the University of Michigan football games and watching NASCAR. His main passion in life was his family, and making sure he did things the "Wright Way".
A private family memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service.
A celebration of life for all others will be held later.
