Timothy M Moore, 50, of Battle Creek, gained his wings, in the early hours of January 5th, 2021, at home, surrounded by loved ones.

He served with 1/6 Mar Div, 1/8 Mar Div, 3/8 Mar Div in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, as an Infantry Marine until 1993. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a 6 month deployment, did Embassy Security in Liberia, Africa for a few months, and saw many beautiful countries while on Mediterranean Floats.
In 1995, Tim joined the North Carolina Army National Guard, where he served 5 yrs with the 1-119th Infantry (Mechanized Infantry). In 2000, he transferred to the Michigan Army National Guard, to the 1-119th FA Svc Btry, now known as FSC.
He deployed to Iraq in support of OIF in 2004-2005, then deployed in 2010-2011 to Kuwait/Iraq, in support of OIF/OND.
Tim loved every minute of service to his country. He was a true Patriot. But, nothing brought more joy to his heart than being a Daddy. Tim met Tabiatha in 2002, and fell head over heels, not only for her, but her 3 children as well. They married in 2004, but their family was not complete. Through a 7 year Foster Care journey, he became Daddy to 3 more little boys. He loved his family more than anything in this world...his Mom & both his Dad's, his wife & 6 children, his 2 brothers, his sisters, his nieces & nephews, he would do anything in the world to see everyone happy! He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, just taking a hike, tinkering with anything & everything he could find, and being a handyman when something needed fixed.
Tim is preceded in death by both of his Dads, Larry E Moore in 1985, and James W Simmons in 2015. He is survived by his wife, Tabiatha Moore; children, Frank Edwards Jr., Sabryna (Caleb) Ellis, Devan (Devin) Burt, William and John Robbins, and Tyler Moore; grandchildren, Thea Verity, and Ashton Ellis; mother, Joyce Moore; brother's, Thomas Moore, and Chris (Laurie) Moore, nephews, Corey, Kody, & Alex Moore and nieces: Kyrsha Zimmerman, Madysson & Makayla Goldsmith.
Tim will be remembered most for his love for his family, and his country.
