Obituary for Velma Rosetta Evans (Spriggs)
Velma Rosetta Evans, 94, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born on November 20, 1928, the daughter of Wendell David Spriggs and Lois Margaret (Curtis) Johnson.
Velma graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1947. Velma retired from the Kellogg Company after 34 years of dedicated work in 1990.
Velma is survived by her nephew, Roger Spence. She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell David Spriggs; mother, Lois Margaret Johnson; son, Richard Evans; daughters, Donnette Evans, Charon Evans; husband, Donald Evans; siblings, Donna Alexander, Larry Spriggs, Dickie Spriggs and Sherrie Spriggs.
At this time, cremation has taken place and no services are being held.
