Obituary for Vicki Lynne Taft (Stafford)

Vicki Lynne Taft, 61, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5, 1959, the daughter of Charles W. and Cleona C. (Smith) Stafford.
Vicki managed Mancinos, and then at Binder Park Zoo. She was an active member of Victory Life Church, serving the Kid's Ministry.
Vicki is survived by her Husband, James E. Taft II; Two Sons, James (Angela) E. Taft III, Charles N. Taft; Grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia, Abbigail Taft; Brothers-In-Law, Rolland (Julie) Taft, Charles A. Taft; Sisters-In-Law, Sandra (Russell) Sawyer, Anne Clark and many nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted family. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sister, Belinda Sue Hawkins, Brother, Richard C. Stafford Gann, Sister-In-Law, Suzanne Parker.
Vicki loved serving Kids Ministry, going on vacations to The Caribbean and Jamaica, spending her summers in South Haven, being by the water, and taking walks to different places just to explore and see what each town had to offer. Her main passion in life however, was her family. She loved her children and her grandchildren. She was a great supporter of their sports and attended whenever she could. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all the people that she had adopted as family throughout her life.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 starting at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim McCarthy officiating.
Interment will take place in the Morgan Cemetery.

Following current state guidelines, 25 people are allowed in attendance at a time.
