Virginia Ray Bodell, 77, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on August 7, 1939, the daughter of Raymond Buckner and Vanella (Wilson) Buckner.
Virginia graduated from Lakeview High School with the Class of 1957.
Virginia is survived by her Three Children Pamela Bodell of Portage, MI, Vance Bodell of Marshall, MI and Cynthia (Jerry) Ekdahl of Battle Creek, MI; Granddaughter, Brittany (Hashem) Ekdahl; Sister, Donna Buckner; Brother, Richard Buckner. She was preceded in death by her Father, Raymond Buckner, Mother, Vanella Buckner, Sister, Louise Dingledine and Husband, Daniel Bodell.
Virginia loved reading. She liked to read books and magazines. She also enjoyed bowling, she was a member of a bowling league in her younger years. Virginia loved art and art fairs. She loved her family and creating cherished memories with them.
